Suatu ketika dulu Adagir .....kini Sendai

Feedjit aku hari ini menunjukkan ada visitor dari Adagir, Morocco.

Di mana Adagir...aku tidak pernah mengenal nama tersebut sebelum ini. Jari-jemari mula mengoggle...Adagir

At 15 minutes to midnight on February 29, 1960, Agadir was almost totally destroyed by an earthquake that lasted 15 seconds, burying the old city and killing thousands, the death toll is estimated at 15,000. The earthquake destroyed the ancient Kasbah on the summit of Cap Ghir hill, which was built in 1540.

Agadir today is a seaport (exporting cobalt, manganese and zinc) and seaside resort with a large sandy beach. Because of its large buildings, wide roads, modern hotels, and European-style cafés, some consider it not typically Moroccan. Agadir is famous for its sea foods and agriculture.

Adagir suatu ketika dulu juga senasib dengan Sendai Jepun cuma Sendai lebih malang kerana gempabuminya dituruti dengan tsunami yang maha dasyat.

Maklumat yang dipeolehi dari WIKIPEDIA "The 1960 Agadir earthquake took place on February 29, 1960, at 23:40 local time. It was the most destructive and deadliest earthquake in Moroccan history with a magnitude of 5.7 Mw, killing around 15,000 people (about a third of the city's population of the time) and wounding another 12,000.[1] At least 35,000 people were left homeless. Despite its moderate magnitude, the earthquake's shallow focus and proximity to the major city of Agadir made it very destructive"
